We are providing this information  at the request of the agency, as a community service.
Shepherd's Pantry provides non-perishable food, clothing and resource counseling support services to families in times of crisis. Our walk-in facility provides a safe and comfortable environment, and our volunteers are always eager and willing to help in every way they can. Our newest program, children’s reading tutor program, started in January 2011 and the response has been wonderful. Children receive one-on-one reading tutoring from experienced tutors at no cost. We also have a licensed beautician available to provide haircuts at no cost.

In order to receive our services, you must live in one of the ten cities we serve: Azusa, Baldwin Park, Claremont, Covina, Glendora, Hacienda Heights, La Puente, La Verne, San Dimas and West Covina. We are open to the public on Wednesday & Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. First time clients must bring proof of residence address. Covina Yellow Ribbon Committee PDF Print E-mail
Covina is proud to support the efforts of an independent non-profit organization, the Covina Yellow Ribbon Committee, This group coordinates the diplay of more than 200 Yellow Ribbon banners honoring men and women who serve in the armed forces. Each banner lists the name and branch of service of a military member. Costs of each banner is $175. Contributions in any amount are welcome. Covina Concert Band PDF Print E-mail
The Covina Concert Band was founded in 1956 and  currently under the direction of Dr. Don Holcomb. Concerts take place at Covina Park every Thursday evening, throughout the summer season, and the band also performs in many events in Covina and surrounding communities throughout the year.  All concerts are presented free of charge.

Over 40 musicians donate their time and talent to the band. Year-round rehersals are every Monday at 7:30 pm.  For more information on Covina Concert Band, visit their website or call (626) 332-0020.
