  • Swimsuits are the only acceptable attire for all patrons. T-shirts will be allowed as cover-ups only in the small pool.  Cut-offs and any attire with buckles, rivets or any metal attachments are not allowed.  Sports bras may be worn as a swimsuit top.  Appropriately fitted rash guards are allowed in both pools.
  • Parents who do not want to swim and do not have a swimsuit but wish to watch their children (7 years and older), must sit in the designated viewing area adjacent to the pools.
  • All children age 2 and under and those not fully potty trained, must wear disposable swim pants, such as Huggies Little Swimmers™.
  • During Recreational Swimming, children age 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult in the water. One adult required for every two children.
  • No flotation devices built into swimsuits, or other    flotation devices such as rafts, swim rings, etc. or toys are allowed in the pools.
  • Cell phone use in locker rooms is prohibited.
  • No alcohol or controlled substances are allowed in or around the Aquatic Center.
  • A swim test must be taken prior to using the diving boards and/or swimming in the deep end.
  • All persons entering the water must take a shower prior to entering the deck area.
  • Persons having open blisters, cuts, etc. are advised not to use the pools.
  • Spitting, spouting water, blowing the nose or otherwise discharging bodily fluids in the pool is strictly prohibited.
  • Running, boisterous or rough play or excessive noise is forbidden in the pool area, shower area, and dressing rooms.
  • Swimming caps are not required, but are recommended for swimmers with long hair.
  • No food or glass containers are allowed on the pool deck.
  • No hairpins allowed in the pools.  Hats are allowed in shallow areas only.
  • Lockers are available for use.  You must bring your own personal lock.  The City is not responsible for any property lost or stolen from the Aquatic Center.  Locks left on locker overnight will be cut off.
  • Any shoes and/or clothing are not allowed on the pool decks and must be kept in lockers.  Sandals or water shoes are acceptable.
  • The City of Covina reserves the right to refuse admittance to or eject from the premises any person failing to comply with any of the health and safety regulations listed above.
